SAVE THE LIFE CHARITABLE TRUST is a non-profit organization founded with the belief that social transformation begins at the grassroots. Over the years, we have evolved into a platform that empowers communities across Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh through targeted interventions in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, skill development, and environmental sustainability. Our name, “Uday, ” meaning “rise, ” reflects our core purpose – to uplift those who have been left behind and to rise together as a society built on equity and compassion.

KEY PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES

Skill Development Program

Our Skill Development program equips underprivileged youth and women with practical skills such as tailoring, computer literacy, and spoken English. This year, 200+ trainees benefited, with nearly 60% already earning through jobs or self-employment, helping families gain financial stability.

Women Empowerment & Self-Help Groups (SHGs)

Our Women Empowerment builds strong Self-Help Groups, providing training in financial literacy, leadership, and entrepreneurship. In 2023–24, we supported 150+ women to start small businesses, gaining confidence, and stronger roles in their families.

Our Education & Learning Support program provides free tuition, scholarships, and essential learning materials to children from marginalized communities. This year, 300+ students improved academically, with many returning to school and gaining confidence through sustained support.

Health & Hygiene Awareness

Our Health & Hygiene Awareness program promotes preventive healthcare through medical camps, hygiene kit distribution, and awareness sessions on nutrition and menstrual health. This year, we supported 500+ families, improving health practices, reducing expenses, and encouraging long-term behavioral change.

Environmental Sustainability & Tree Plantation

Our Environmental Sustainability program promotes tree plantation, waste management, and clean energy awareness. This year, we planted 2,000+ trees and engaged students through Green Clubs, encouraging eco-friendly habits and community-wide responsibility for a greener future.

Project Pragati – Community Education & Awareness Camps

Project Arogya provides free health camps, medical check-ups, medicines, and health education to underserved communities. In 2023–24, it supported 3,500+ people—especially women, children, and seniors—promoting better health, awareness, and preventive care across communities.

Looking ahead, we plan to:

Expand tuition centers in rural areas.

Launch women entrepreneurship programs.

Introduce digital literacy classes.

Organize large-scale environmental campaigns.

Our goal is to scale impact, touch more lives, and continue building a future of education, empowerment, and sustainability.
